Vinegar

This is a writeup of the crypto challenge Vinegar in the n00bz CTF 2024.

The attached file enc.txt contained the following text:

Encrypted flag: nmivrxbiaatjvvbcjsf
Key: secretkey

Guessing from the title of the challenge this should be a Vigenère cipher. This is already implemented in CyberChef so use it to decrypt the message:

This gives us the flag: n00bz{vigenerecipherisfun}
